Charles Douthwaite is an experienced SLT with a background in NHS and private healthcare. He specialises in communication and swallowing for adults with brain injuries, prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDOC), and tracheostomies. As co-owner of Excel SLT, he delivers assessment, treatment, and training, focusing on empowering caregivers.
Hannah Plant is a Registered Dietitian at Elysium Healthcare, specialising in neurological care. She provides nutritional support at a neurobehavioral hospital and a rehabilitation centre, focusing on complex neurorehabilitation, with expertise in enteral feeding and decision-making for patients with dysphagia and challenging behaviours. Previously, Hannah worked as a Home Enteral Feeding dietitian, supporting patients transitioning from hospital to home care. She advocates for collaborative, person-centred approaches that align nutritional interventions with rehabilitation and quality of life goals.
