Resource® ThickenUp® Clear
Resource® ThickenUp® Clear is an instant thickening agent that can be used with both liquids and food to support the dietary management of dysphagia (swallowing difficulties). It is a Food for Special Medical Purposes, intended for oral consumption only and must be used under medical supervision.
Resource® ThickenUp® Clear is suitable for patients with swallowing difficulties due to conditions such as:
- Stroke
- Parkinson's Disease
- Muscular dystrophy
- Motor neurone disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Neurological disorders due to injury or disease
- Oral cavity or throat malignancies
- Supports safe and effective dysphagia management
- Thickens and stabilises rapidly, remaining clear, lump-free, and consistent over time
- Preserves the natural flavour and aroma of foods and drinks
- Suitable for hot, cold and fizzy drnks including: Tea, Coffee, Sparkling water, Cola
- Can be added to favourite resipes, such as roast dinner or fish pie, without affecting taste

Indications
Suitable for patients requiring thickening of liquid or food for the dietary management of dysphagia due to conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, neurological disorders caused by injury or disease, and malignancies of the oral cavity and throat.
Precautions
Suitable for children 3 years and above. Unsuitable as a sole source of nutrition. For oral consumption only. Must only be consumed when mixed with food or drink.
