Cow’s milk allergy (CMA) is one of the most common food allergies seen in children worldwide, however, the diagnosis of non-IgE mediated CMA remains challenging due to the overlap in symptoms with functional gut disorders.
This webinar will explore:
- Newly published guidelines that aim to provide evidence-based support for healthcare professionals on the diagnosis of both IgE and non-IgE mediated CMA.
- In particular, we will focus on recently updated DRACMA and ESPGHAN guidelines and discuss how they might impact your clinical practice.
Dr. Rosan Meyer is a highly specialist paediatric dietitian. She has a busy practice in London specialising in food hypersensitivity and aversive eating and has published numerous articles and books. She was the chair for the EAACI Allied Health and Primary Section, and chair of the International Network for Diet and Nutrition in Allergy (INDANA) until mid-2024. Rosan has also been the co-research dietitian on the NIHR funded Trial on IgE test guided dietary advice for children with eczema since 2022 and is the current secretary for the Immunomodulation and Nutrition Working Group from EAACI. Additionally, she is currently a visiting Professor at KU Leuven, Belgium and Winchester University, UK.
